I am trying to fall asleep for the last three hours, but I am not even able to close my eyes! Loads of thoughts and images are turning in my head and the main subject is the world today! Yes, thinking about the world we are living in today prevents me from sleeping at night, though I am very tired and I could not believe that I have finally got home and jumped into my bed, so to share my thoughts with all of you I started to write this small article “which is actually no more than one Man’s thoughts”.

 

Let us review together the events that have been forming the major head lines over the past couple of years… So the story of the Palestine conflict is still boiling, the NATO bombed Serbia, brought Slobodan Milosevic down and dragged him into a war crimes international court, then comes the never ending story of the 11th of September and the wounded U.S.A that leads of course to the very famous War On terror into which the whole world is dragged now, not to forget the major achievements of it: the war in Afghanistan, the bombings in Istanbul, Madrid, Yemen, the war on Iraq lately, and the whole story about the security obsessions in every single country and the anti- Islam movements and so on… important for the Arabic world is of course bringing Sadam Hussein into court and suing him for crimes against humanity, I will certainly agree with you that I have only mentioned the minimum head lines that are continually evolving and neglected so many related events, but what I want to get to is this: since the Man have started to exist, he is always leading wars, but first he fought for food, then for a place to live in, then for a bigger place, then for power and authority and then because he wanted more so again he fought because he was greedy and finally comes the brilliant idea… with it the interesting wars starts, Man started to fight for God! So when God came up into our little story, our very clever ancestors finally found a million years’ reason for leading a certain, none rejected, justified war, a war in the name of God, after all who will dare to come across a nation who says: “God spoke to us and told us to do so?! So the way I see it is: if there is one person to blame for our messed up world and for crimes against humanity, hunger, pollution, and having a bad president, then that person will be God! Yes, let us bring God into a court and sue him; may be then we will get rid of all those who are killing people for fun, money and for power… Obviously and certainly I am not a believer in their or even in your God, and before you start to curse me as I am sure all of you will, before you stop reading further, that is if you did not already, I want you to be objective and plain, go to no side and stand for no one but yourself, and think with me of some answers or may be just roll these ideas a little bit in your head! For how long we will be black mailed by religion? For how long we will die for those who speak in the name of God? And for how long we will misuse our times listening to those who suggest that humanity is a sin and humans must be framed aside from their passions, feelings and nature? If God is the mighty, and the just one, if he is the supper natural phenomena, and if he is our creator, and above all if we really believe in these suggestions and live up to them, then why we will accept that people like G.W Bush, the Pope, and thousands in the Arabic world like Mouktada Al Sader in Iraq, why do we allow them to speak in the name of God and be his figures on earth, knowing that they belong to the same specie as us, simple humans? It is being said to us over the last two thousands years that God is Goodness, and forgiveness, that God is pure, humble, helpful, loving, tender, and above all God is peace and to live in the name of God means to live in inner peace and reflect it out side… if this is God, then I am the greatest believer, and this is the god I believe in, will it be the God you will start to believe in? And will it be the God that you will not kill for, rape for, burn for, and elect a president for?! There will be thousands to die, and Al Sader, G. W. Bush, Osama bin Laden, and a lot like them will stay alive, drinking, eating, enjoying… the whole humanity will bring it self into the end and die yet The idea and sample of their God will stay alive.
